Materials
To make one hanging decoration you need:
- a 7 cm wooden slice with a cord
- a sheet of sturdy Christmas patterned card
- a thick pipe cleaner, 9 mm diameter
- a white pompom
- eye stickers
- rhinestone stickers
- a fine black marker
- a strong glue stick
- scissors
Step 1
Choose your patterned paper and turn the sheet over.
Place half of the wooden slice on the edge of the sheet (hole facing up) and trace around it with a pencil.
Step 2
Cut out along the line, then glue the patterned paper onto the wooden slice.
Step 3
Poke a hole in the paper to reveal the small hole in the wooden slice.
Step 4
Place a pipe cleaner under the patterned paper, then twist both ends behind the wooden slice to hold it in place.
Step 5
Trim any excess pipe cleaner.
Step 6
Stick on two eye stickers and two rhinestone stickers to give the elf a cute look.
Step 7
Draw a smile with the black marker.
Step 8
Glue a white pompom on top with the strong glue stick to finish the elf’s hat.
