How to make this craft step-by-step:
Materials
To make an autumn owl painting, you will need:
- orange and brown acrylic paint
- a silicone squeegee
- tree leaf stickers
- triangle stickers
- watercolor letter stickers
- thick white paper
- 25 mm googly eyes
- white glue
Step 1
Draw a "U" shape in brown paint in the middle of the paper, then draw a second "U" shape in orange paint right next to it.
Step 2
Use the silicone squeegee to spread the paint by sliding it from the top to the bottom of the paper. The silhouettes of two owls will appear.
Tip: Keep steady pressure on the squeegee throughout the movement to spread the paint evenly and avoid white spots.
Step 3
Glue two googly eyes onto each owl using white glue.
Step 4
Stick a triangle sticker on each owl to form the beak.
Step 5
Arrange tree leaf stickers around the owls to create the effect of leaves blown by the wind.
Step 6
Finish by spelling "Chouuuette!" with the watercolor letter stickers.
