Cute Spiders Made from Styrofoam Balls
Here is an easy Halloween craft to make spiders with Styrofoam balls!
In addition, we will add a colorful and elegant touch to these spiders to bring some color to traditional Halloween creative activities.
How to make this craft step-by-step:
Materials
To make a cute spider you will need:
- a polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm
- colored tissue paper
- glue varnish and a brush
- a pair of scissors
- 4 pipe cleaners of 30 cm
- 2 googly eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- an adhesive bow tie
- strong white glue
Step 1
Cut small squares of about 2 x 2 cm from a sheet of tissue paper in the color of your choice.
Step 2
Insert the polystyrene ball onto a wooden stick, then glue the small squares of tissue paper using glue varnish and a brush.
Step 3
Once the ball is completely covered with tissue paper, let it dry for a few hours.
Step 4
Cut 4 caterpillars of 30 cm into 2 pieces to obtain 8 small caterpillars that we will use to make the spider's legs.
Step 5
Using a colored pencil, pierce a hole on each side of the polystyrene ball (depth of the hole: 2 to 3 cm)
Step 6
Plant the caterpillars in the holes (4 on each side).
Step 7
Curve the chenille stems to create the spider's legs.
Step 8
Glue two large moveable eyes of Ø 2.5 cm with white glue to give a funny look to the spider.
Step 9
Add a cute touch to the spider by sticking a paper bow tie on top of the ball.

Superbe idée. Bravo à vous
my 4-year-old daughter loved it, she wanted to cover it in glow-in-the-dark paint for a scarier look in the dark
ma fille de 4 ans a beaucoup aimé, elle a voulu recouvrir en peinture phosphorescente pour un rendu plus effrayant dans le noir
