Drawing a caterpillar with toddlers
Take out the solid gouache sticks and stickers for a super simple spring activity to do with toddlers! The children will line up circles to form a happy caterpillar. A perfect activity to learn how to make circles and recognize colors while having fun.
The little extra touch for this activity is the stickers: we stick colorful flowers and little ladybugs around the caterpillar to create a spring decor. It’s a simple and fun idea to do at school or at home.
Why do we love this activity?
- Solid gouache sticks allow little ones to easily draw circles without effort.
- Pasting and peeling the flower and ladybug stickers is a good fine motor skills exercise.
- We can write the child's name with letter stickers so they can be proud of their creation.
